HISTORY

Available in a few nurseries in UK and Europe is similar to Peach Blossom which is much more widely grown.
Raised by Georg Arends of Ronsdorf Germany in 1930.
Award of Merit RHS Trial in 1970.
A japonica hybrid.

The first cultivar to flower each year.
Used extensively in Europe for forcing in the pot plant industry.
Very similar to Peach Blossom although it has broader petals.
