Available from several nurseries in UK and Europe.
Raised by Kooy und Zonen in Boskoop Holland in 1947.
A sport from Koblenz.
Award of Merit RHS Trial 1970.

ASSESSMENT

A suitable cultivar for pot plant production but also for growing in the garden although not very vigorous.
Has good deep red flower spikes which are heavy and liable to droop in the rain.
Worth growing in the garden as it gives a good display.
