Raised by B.Ruys in Holland in 1916.
Highly Commended RHS Trial 1970.
Has been sold as "Crimson King" in the past.
An arendsii hybrid.

ASSESSMENT

Very good cultivar of a darker colour than Gloria and with good foliage.
Wilts quickly when cut.
